Jim Hamakiotis was appointed Vice President, Transformation at RTX in October 2023. He is responsible for driving the enterprise-wide Operations and Supply Chain transformation across the three businesses: Raytheon, Pratt & Whitney and Collins Aerospace.
He was previously Vice President, Supply Management, Pratt & Whitney Canada since January 2018. Responsible for the supply chain delivery, quality and cost assurance needed to meet production and spares commitments across P&WC. Prior to that, he was leading Operations and manufacturing units internationally in Poland, China & India.
Jim began his career at P&WC in 2005 leading Strategic Sourcing and assumed positions of increasing responsibility within the Supply Management organization before being appointed Director, Global Operations and Strategy in October 2010. He was most recently Senior Director, Business Development, where he was responsible for Partnerships and Digital Strategy. Prior to joining P&WC, he was Director of Operations Strategy at Kraft Foods.
Jim holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA in strategic management from McGill University.
