Karl Hutter is the President & CEO of Click Bond, Inc., headquartered in Carson City, Nevada. A second- generation family business with 500 employees in Carson City and Watertown, Connecticut, Click Bond designs and manufactures mechanical assembly solutions for the global aerospace industry. Its technology and products enable the efficient design, production, and maintenance of high-performance aircraft, spacecraft, and defense vehicles. Karl has literally grown up in the business, which his parents founded in 1987, and has formally been employed by Click Bond since graduating college in 2000. Since then, he has held multiple roles including Applications Engineer, Asia-Pacific Sales Manager, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, COO & CFO, and for the past seven years President & CEO.
Karl attended Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts, and the University of Pennsylvania. Karl holds dual bachelor’s degrees, from the School of Engineering and Applied Science in Systems Engineering and from the Wharton School of Business in Operations Management. He is an active leader of key industry organizations, currently serving on the Executive Committee of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM); the Board of Directors of the non-profit Manufacturing Institute, a national workforce development engine; and the Board of Governors of the Aerospace Industries Association, having previously also served on its Executive Committee.
Karl is an ATP-certificated pilot and enjoys backcountry airplane exploration, skiing, adventure travel, and photography. Karl and his wife Jen, the founder of The Center Foundation, a local non-profit devoted to enhancing personal and community wellness, have been residents of Reno, Nevada since 2011 and are the proud parents of daughters Hannah and Marley.
